Ft. Myers-Naples (May 21, 2015) – Univision SW Florida dominates Prime Time Spanish TV viewing in the Ft. Myers-Naples DMA Monday-Friday and on the Weekend according to the May 2015 Nielsen sweeps. In Prime Time Weekdays (M-F 7-11P) Univision SW Florida delivers 25% more audience than its nearest Spanish TV rival. In Prime Time Weekends (Sat-Sun 7-11P), Univision SW Florida’s crushes its Spanish TV competitors, delivering 68% greater audience than any other Spanish TV station.
Univision SW Florida also widens its lead in Spanish TV News. D’Latinos, the first and longest-running Spanish TV Program in the Ft. Myers-Naples DMA, followed by the Univision Network News garners 50% more audience than its closest Spanish competitor in the Early Evening News Hour (M-F 6-7P) and 35% larger audience in the Late Night News Hour (M-F 11P-12).
During daytime Weekdays, Univision ekes out a close win with “Despierta America,” its morning show (M-F 7-11A) then leaves the Spanish TV competition in the dust, delivering 42% larger audience in Mid-day (M-F 11A-4P) and 48% more Households in Early Fringe (M-F 4-6P) than its closest Spanish TV rival.
